Nintendo Switch sales pass for life PS4 in the United States

Nintendo Switch has officially overcome PlayStation 4 in sales in the United States. It is not necessary to say that Nintendo Switch and PS4 have been the largest games of the last decade, with important franchises such as Uncharted, The Last of Us, Mario, Zelda and many others thriving on their respective platforms. The PlayStation 4 obtained a great advantage over the Xbox One in 2013 after the latter had a bad revelation, which worried many about the future of the Microsoft console. Although much of this was reversed before launch, Xbox spent most of the generation by compensating for its mistakes and since then it has achieved great advances with things like Xbox Game Pass. However, the PS4 remained largely the dominant console.

The Nintendo Switch has now advanced in the race, only five years after its initial launch, although the PS4 has a massive waiting time of four years. According to the latest NPD report, Nintendo Switch is now the fourth best -selling console in the United States behind PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii. Now it is the sixth best -selling console of all time in general. Although Sony's current console is now PlayStation 5, the owner of the platform supposedly began to increase production in PlayStation 4 to compensate for the inability to produce more PS5 at this time due to the shortage of parts. Analysts have predicted that Nintendo could launch a new console by 2024, but Nintendo Switch has already performed strongly and shows no signs of deceleration, especially with a sequel to the breath of the wild_ on the way. Nintendo still has to announce what his plans are for his next console, but some have speculated that it could be a more powerful review of Nintendo Switch.

It is not incredibly surprising to see that Nintendo Switch dominates, since it is an incredibly versatile hardware piece. Not only can you play on the TV with friends and family, but you can also easily take over the march, which means that fun never has to stop. In addition to that, he has an incredible game library that will surely keep people playing for a long time.
